Today, our Special Works team, supported by a large-volume vacuum unit, continued draining and cleaning this old disused pool, with all waste safely removed from site.
During the works, the team spotted a distressed one-week-old duckling stranded in the sludge. Without a second thought, one of our operatives climbed in and rescued the little duck, who was quickly nicknamed “Donald.”
With the support of our client, Donald has now been safely rehomed in their nature reserve pond, where he’ll have a much better chance to grow and thrive.
