Today we had one of our civils teams working alongside a tanker/jetting crew at a residential home in Oxfordshire in order to establish and fix what was believed to be initially a collapsed pipe.
After further investigation and excavation, our suspicions based on a previous cctv survey were correct, some previous contractor in their wisdom had connected a new drain to a manhole, by simply smashing another and using its connection!
The tanker removed all the foul waste before the jetting crew then stepped in and removed all the broken pipe and debris from the pipework using water jetting, and finally our civils team took over and undertook the repair and reinstatement.
7 hours of a good team effort with minimal disruption and the job was complete, checked and services back up and running!
